I bought the Thermarest Women's Trail Pro Sleeping Pad to use on a tent camping trip. Since my trip was in June, I was unconcerned with the pad's ability to keep me warm, so I cannot comment on that particular feature. However, I was extremely happy with the cushioning the pad provided. Previously, I had slept in the tent with only a sleeping bag and in the morning my back and hips would be killing me. Upon sitting on the pad for the first time I could immediately tell that I would be much more comfortable, and I was not disappointed. The pad does self inflate somewhat, but in the interest of time, I used my mouth to blow it up to a more firm level of padding. Packing up the pad was also very easy, you just open the valve and roll it up. Packed up, it's about the size of a roll of paper towels.I did deduct one star for the fact that it seemed a little narrow for my taste. I am 5'7 and about 145 lbs.
