This beats them all hands down. The attention to detail (straps to help pack the rolled up room, extra reinforcements at every stress point, a built in bag for the stakes, sewn-in instructions) and the quality of construction are exceptional. This is a good shelter, shade provider, rain diverter, bug keeper-outer. Set up/take down is easy and quick. The side awnings really come in handy. Though I would like to also say that a couple of pockets on the sides that don't open could help. also a loop in the top to hang a small battery operated light would also be a good thing. But overall, worth the investment. The fact that this 31 lb. shelter replaced one that weighed overall about 150 lbs and took up a lot of space (including 10 ft poles on a roofrack) was the main point of consideration. But here is a funny thing - in the paperwork there's a disclaimer about setting up the Paha Que in sunlight, that it might harm the shelter - Duh! it is supposed to be a sun shelter/shade provider besides keeping the bugs... In our rush we accidentally broke a conrner pole of our Paha Que screen room.What a bummer!. I called my son who found the Paha Que 800 number for me on his computer. I called PahaQue, explained my dilemma and was pleased to learn that they would send me a new set of poles by UPS. Within two days, the package arrived and the screen room was a welcome addition to our camp site. Great product, great service above the call of duty. A pleasure to recommend their products. |
